Funky Fold Friday - How I Make My Box Cards

Hi Guys - it's amazing how quickly Friday comes around.  Here is my Funky Fold for this week and I'll be showing you how I make my Box Cards.  The basic card is created using a tried and tested format - my changes happen in the decoration.

The video is on YouTube - Here!

For the basic card you will need:-

Main Card Colour:-
1 @ 10.5" x 6" (26.8cm x 15.2cm scored on the long side at 2.5", 5", 7.5" and 10" (6.3cm, 12.6cm, 18.9cm, 25.2cm) then the short side at 2.5" (6.3cm) making sure the panel between the small tab and the next scoreline is left un-scored (it's clearer in the video!).

2 @ 3.5" x 2.25" (8.8cm x 6.3cm) scored on the long side at 0.5" (1.3cm) from each end.

Whisper White/Very Vanilla:-

1 @ 2.25" x 5.75" (5.7cm x 14.5cm)

Designer Series Paper:-

Design 1 - 3 @ 2.25" x 2.25" (5.7cm x 5.7cm) Design 2 - 1 @ 2.25" x 5.75" (5.7cm x 14.5cm) Extras for decoration.

For the decoration you will need:-

Jewellery Wire (around 0.6mm thick):-

Stamped images or images cut from DSP.

If you would like to buy the Share Sunshine PDF Download you can find it at https://covid19.stampinup.com/product... - this is the English version but other languages are also available.

Below are the products I used for the two cards in the video - sign up to follow my blog as I'll be posting more decoration ideas over the next few months as this is one of my favourite card folds.

If you have a go at this yourself, then I'd love to see what you make - add your photos into the comments or on my FB Page.

So, stay safe and Happy Stampin'
Barbara 😘

Technique Tuesday & A Little Bit Of Kissing!!

It's ok - you haven't stumbled over a dodgy video!  It's the stamps that have been kissing!

It's an old technique but one that is still very valid - and new stampers are joining our ranks all the time.  And it's so simple.

Check out the video on YouTube - apologies in advance for the poor sound quality.  I had a lot of fun making these cards.  I'd love to know what you think of them - please do leave a comment below.

Meanwhile, you can find a list of the products I used below, but you'll need to be quick as a lot of them are having their last hurrah!!

As promised, here is the finished card using the background I stamped on the video.

Stay safe and Happy Stampin'
Barbara xx
