Funky Fold Friday - Double Flap Fold

Today I recorded the first Facebook Live of my Funky Fold Friday series based on a card made last year by Lynn Dunn.

You can see the replay on my Facebook Page.  I had a lot of fun making this card - join me next week at 10.30am for the next fold in the series.

If you have a go at making this card yourself, please do add a photo in the comments - I love seeing what others come up with.

Stay safe, and Happy Stampin'

Get Your Craft On In May!!

I'm so excited to announce my first 'Class In The Mail' featuring the gorgeous Positive Thoughts Stamp Set to make 10 stunning projects designed by the oh-so-talented Liz Shannon.  She has kindly put these projects together to help fellow Demonstrators keep our businesses running during this uncertain time.

This class has a very short sign-up deadline (sorry for this but I want to get this class started asap) - you can find all the details including how to join the class on my Facebook Event Listing for the Positive Thoughts 'Class In The Mail'.  The class costs £32 for 4 kits (one for each of four Zoom sessions starting Saturday 2nd May) which contain all the cardstock, paper, die cuts and embellishments you need to complete 9 cards and a Pizza Box.  In addition you will need the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set which you can buy through my website - other products such as Ink you can either use what you already have at home, or there is a list of these items on the Facebook page which you can add to your online order.

The deadline for signing up is THURSDAY 23rd APRIL 2020 at 23.00 BST.  Places need to be booked and paid for by this time so that I have time to get in the supplies for the kits, get them cut and prepped, and then get them to you via the good 'ole Royal Mail service. Details for the Zoom sessions will be made available to you via a private FB Group where you can also chat to other participants.

Here are some close-ups of each week's projects:-

(NOTE:- Some of the kit contents may vary slightly)

It's Time For A Lockdown Prize Draw!!!

Hi guys - how are you all doing with this lockdown?  I'm being 'shielded' due to my health conditions so I'm starting to climb the walls now!  I don't know about you, but I'm really missing social interaction - Zoom, FaceTime, Skype etc just isn't the same.  But, needs must.

I thought it was time I did something to help cheer us all up - so I'm have a Prize Draw during April.

How would you like to get your hands on THIS??  Little Ladybug was the absolutely gorgeous Host SAB Stamp Set which was awarded when a Host's order reached £275 or over during Sale-A-Bration.  Well, I have one to GIVE AWAY to one lucky customer.  All you need to do to be entered into the draw is place an order through my online shop at www.magiclady.stampinup.net which is over £25 before shipping during April 2020 (any orders already placed in April will also be included).  Your name will be put into the hat, and a winner will be drawn BY HAND in a Facebook Live Broadcast on 1st May 2020 - watch out nearer the time for announcements of exactly when that will happen.

Happy Stampin' & Stay Safe!

PS - don't forget to use April's Host Code when you checkout - you'll find it in the sidebar over there →

This is NOT an April Fool!!

I know that it's the 1st April, but this is NOT an April Fool!  We really are bringing you the chance to buy a GORGEOUS floral Suite from the upcoming 2020-21 Annual Catalogue TWO MONTHS EARLY!

The Ornate Garden Suite contains not one but TWO Stamp Sets and TWO Die Sets, which can both be bought as Bundles, saving 10% on the individual price!  You also have a 3D Embossing Folder, stunning Specialty Designer Series Paper which is accented with Gold Foil, a two reel Ribbon Combo and a pack of Gilded Gems.

You can buy the entire Suite for £127.75/165.50€, or buy select items for their individual prices.

For more details, or to place an order, you can visit my ALL NEW STAMPIN' UP! UK SHOP - yes, I have even more exciting news!!

Over the next few months, all Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Shops are going over to country specific domains and are having a make-over - and the UK is the first to undergo this process.  You can still access my shop via https://magiclady.stampinup.net/ then click on SHOP NOW - just double check that my name is at the top of the page when you get there πŸ˜‰  Regular visitors will notice a distinct difference with new filtering capabilities, more concise category groupings and less 'lingo' - for instance, 'Designer Series Paper' is now called 'Patterned Paper', hopefully making the shopping process a bit less daunting for Beginner Crafters.  You can even mark your favourite products by clicking on the ♡ icon! I'd love it if you could take a few minutes to check the new shop out, and if you get a pop-up asking for your feedback, it would really help us if you could take the short survey.

Lastly for this update - I've set up a new Host Code for online orders from 1st-30th April 2020 of NHG9H46H - you will also find this over there πŸ‘‰ at the top of the sidebar 😏.

Stay safe during this COVID-19 virus outbreak and as always - Happy Stampin'!

Our New Service Is Almost Here!!

Just before Christmas I had a test run of our new service for a fabulous seamstress, Tina, who makes and sells Dance Costumes through her business, Dash Dancewear (you can find her on Facebook).

I produced some personalised T-Shirts, Water Bottles and Gym Bags as promotional gifts for her Dance Divas.  I just love the colour of these!!

I can’t take credit for the logo design though - this was produced by my super talented eldest son, Joe Maynard, who is studying for a Degree in Games Art Design at Plymouth College of Art (but more about that another time 😜). If you do want any logo design work done though, he would be more than happy to help.  Just drop me an email and I’ll pass on his details 😜

So - where is all this leading and what does it mean for the future of Studio@316?

Well, at the very end of 2019 we took possession of a 6 colour embroidery machine!  This is in addition to the Vinyl Cutting Machine and a Heat Press!  I can tell you, my living room currently looks more like a factory than a home πŸ€ͺπŸ₯΄.

Studio@316 is still going to be the place to come for your Stampin’ UP! supplies if you live in the UK, France, Germany, Austria or The Netherlands, and I will still be running classes and workshops in the Bexleyheath area.  But IN ADDDITION to all that, I will also be taking orders for, and producing, personalised garments, home decor items and promotional materials with vinyl and/or embroidered lettering and images.  Prices and available services will be added to the website this week, so watch this space for the official launch on Saturday 1st February 2020!!

Well, as it’s now 3am, I guess I should go to bed!!  It’s all so exciting that I can’t stop ideas and things to add to my To Do List popping into my head long enough to sleep πŸ₯΄

Night, night 😘

Some Exciting News!!

Our Jan-Jun 2020 Mini Catalogue is now LIVE on both my normal website and the Beta Site.

But something special is happening during Sale-a-bration (3/1-31/3).

Stampin' Up! UK have been testing out our new Beta Store, which means that when you visit there may be some pop-up screens asking you for feedback on how you find it and if you have any ideas for improvements.  I know some have had a go at the beta store and giving it a test run really helps us to find out how it is working for you, my customers.

Since it is still in the testing stage, it does not support the Sale-a-bration promotion which starts on 3 January BUT what you can do is get a discount of 20% off your entire order during Sale-a-bration (3 Jan-31 March).

Therefore, from tomorrow (3 Jan) if you want Sale-a-bration products, shop at my online store here www.magiclady.stampinup.net

Or, if you would rather have 20% off your entire order, visit the beta store at www.betasite.stampinup.net

Of course, you might want a bit of both so shop at whichever site you want the benefits from!

Note also that the Sale-a-bration host offer for the ladybug stamp set is also not available through the beta site.

To get the 20% discount, you will need to place your order through the beta site and you can still use the current host code - Q97XARPX (for orders under £150, for orders of £150+ you earn the rewards).

If you are choosing to get the 20% discount, visit the beta store and then select me as your demonstrator.  Don't forget to create an account, if you haven't already visited the beta store.

My WHY For Joining Stampin' UP!
